Mission Point Preschool
Mission Point Preschool is a weekday preschool ministry of Canton First Baptist. Our office is open Monday - Thursday from 8:30am-1:30pm. Tours are available on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30am or on other days by appointment. We offer preschool classes to children ages 2-5 years, as well as Parents' Morning Out for children 12-24 months.
As a church and preschool, we embrace tremendous responsibility of teaching preschoolers. We are blessed with dedicated, Christian teachers who love working with children and want to see them grow in their love and knowledge of God and Jesus. We are reminded in Psalms 127:3 that children are a gift from God!
PMO - Parent's Morning Out
The PMO, or Parent's Morning Out, program is often the first time that children are away from their parents for any amount of time; therefore, the most important thing is to make the child feel safe and secure.

This program will be ideal for children who are young fives or might need another year to develop socially or academically before moving on to the kindergarten program.
We see each child as a unique individual created by God, with different abilities and learning styles. Children are energetic and inquisitive learners who are trying to understand the world around them. A child's growth and development is viewed as a process, not an event. Preschoolers grow and develop according to the same basic pattern. Each child follows a general sequence, but at his/her own rate. We are committed to providing developmentally appropriate activities that will help your child grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
Weekday Early Education from LifeWay Christian Resources is a resource for the learning centers. (A listing of weekly units and/or skills for each age group is available upon request).
"Handwriting without Tears" will be a part of the curriculum this year.
Spiritual Development: Your child will learn that they are "Fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalms 139:14. They become aware that God made everything. They learn that the Bible is about God and Jesus and the stories are real. Each weekly unity includes a Bible story. Chapel on Thursdays includes a Bible story, songs, and mission projects.
