What is Overflow?

Overflow is a monthly gathering of women designed to make disciples who make disciples as we build an intentional community of sisters in Christ. Participants will be divided into small groups of no more than 6 and meet in homes around Canton..

Who is Overflow for?

Overflow is for any woman 18 years or older who is interested in maturing in her faith in the Lord or learning more about Jesus. Groups will be led and coordinated by CFB Women's Ministry team members.

Why commit to Overflow?

Now is the time to get serious about maturing in our faith and sharing the Gospel. Overflow will help us be intentional about digging into the Word and leaning IN to Christian fellowship so that we may go OUT and proclaim the Gospel.

How big are Overflow groups?
No more than 6 people

How are Overflow groups assigned?
Participants will be prayerfully and intentionally placed in groups by CFB Women's Ministry. This means you cannot form your own Overflow group.

Who leads Overflow gatherings?
Overflow gatherings will be led by members of the CFB Women's Ministry Core team.

When will groups be announced?
Groups will be announced at our Overflow Kick-Off Event on Saturday, August 27, a fun time of food and fellowship where you'll get a first chance to meet your leader and group.

Where will Overflow groups meet?
Groups will take place in group leaders' homes around Canton

What are Overflow gatherings like?
Each meeting will consist of: Fellowship, a Potluck Meal, a Devotion, and Outreach.

Does each group do something different?
No, every group does the same thing.
What commitment is expected?
We believe the Lord has called us to get serious about His Word, growing in our faith, and sharing the Gospel. Because of this, each participant will sign a commitment agreement that states you will take attending and participating in your group seriously.

How long will my commitment last?
From August 2022 to May 2023

Is there homework?
No. We will study the Word together at each group meeting, with no requirement for additional reading between meetings.

Is there a cost?
There are no fees or material costs. However, meetings consist of potluck and outreach projects, which may require you to pay for whatever you bring.

What happens at the end of the season?
The season will end with a Day of Service Celebration. If you choose to continue in Overflow, groups will be re-assigned the following August.

Can I request to be in a group with friends?
No. The particular aim of Overflow is to create new relationships that you may otherwise not have the opportunity to create.
